Percentage is a mathematical concept that expresses a number as a fraction of 100. It is widely used in exams, financial analysis, statistics, etc.
प्रतिशत एक गणितीय संकल्पना है जो किसी संख्या को 100 के अंश के रूप में व्यक्त करती है। यह परीक्षाओं, वित्तीय विश्लेषण, सांख्यिकी आदि में व्यापक रूप से उपयोग होती है।
Important Rules | महत्वपूर्ण नियम
- Percentage = (Part / Whole) × 100
प्रतिशत = (भाग / संपूर्ण) × 100 - To convert a percentage into a fraction, divide it by 100.
प्रतिशत को भिन्न में बदलने के लिए उसे 100 से विभाजित करें। - To find x% of y: (x/100) × y
किसी संख्या का x% निकालने के लिए: (x/100) × y - If a number increases by x%, then the new value = original × (1 + x/100)
यदि कोई संख्या x% से बढ़ती है, तो नई संख्या = मूल संख्या × (1 + x/100) - If a number decreases by x%, then the new value = original × (1 - x/100)
