Mixture & Alligation / मिश्रण व मिलावट

High-frequency mixture & alligation patterns: concentration, replacement, price-weight mixture.

Smart Tips / आसान ट्रिक्स

  • Alligation rule: Qty(lower):Qty(higher) = (Higher - Mean):(Mean - Lower).
  • Replacement में removed quantity = added quantity (same).
  • If water is added to milk: milk quantity same, total increases.
  • Concentration = (Pure / Total) × 100.
  • Ratio method fast है—long equations avoid करो.

Formula / Key Notes

1) Concentration (%) = (Pure quantity / Total quantity) × 100

2) Alligation:
Mix A% (lower) & B% (higher) to get M%:
Ratio (A : B) = (B - M) : (M - A)

3) Replacement:
New pure = Old pure - removed pure + added pure
(If added is water, added pure = 0)
